Cleddau
The River Cleddau (Afon
Cleddau) comprises the East and West Cleddau rivers in
Pembrokeshire, West Wales. The two branches unite to form
the Daugleddau estuary, which forms the important harbour at
Milford Haven.
The Eastern Cleddau
Sea Trout Fishing on the Western and Eastern Cleddau
The
Pembrokeshire Anglers Association has 15 miles of prime
salmon, trout and sea trout fishing on the Western Cleddau river in
Pembrokeshire, West Wales, the fishing beats stretch from the
fast-flowing upper reaches to the tidal areas just upstream of
Haverfordwest. The association also has a short beat on the Eastern
Cleddau. The two rivers combined recorded a very healthy ten year
average (to 2009) of 631 sea trout per season.
All waters of the
Pembrokeshire Anglers Association are available to visiting anglers
on daily or weekly permits, with full season membership still open
to all.
